Q: Is there any registration fee?
A: Yes, since IIT Kharagpur Platinum Jubilee celebration has sponsored a significant amount of the budget, we kept low registration fee for students.
Q: Is my registration confirmed?
A: Please visit the ‘registration’ portal in the website. If you have filled all the required fields and submitted your application, a registration confirmation email has already been sent/ will be sent shortly with in 24 h. If you have not got any confirmation email in your registered email, please contact us through: Email- transmatter2026@gmail.com and Website link: transmatter.org
Q. How do I reach the venue, IIT Kharagpur?
A: If you are coming by train, you need to deboard at Kharagpur Jn. Railway Station, then you may book Ola/ Rapido (cab/bike), Toto, Auto (as per your convenience) from the station to reach the IIT campus.
If you are travelling through air, you need to reach ‘Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU), Kolkata’ and then take a cab or train (from Howrah/ Santragachhi railway station) to IIT Kharagpur campus as mentioned above.
Please keep your Institute/ Govt. ID card and conference registration confirmation document with you for smooth entry to the conference venue.

Q: Will accommodation be given?
A: TransMATTER-2026 organizers received accommodation approval (hostel accommodation) for participants but the number is limited to 70 (30 Males and 40 Females). Since the number of registrations is too high with respect to approved numbers for accommodation, we are prioritizing people from other states first to get allotted in the hostel. Our accommodation team member has contacted most of you personally. Those who assured staying outside will not be allotted a hostel, and we sincerely thank them for their support towards the organizing team.
